The Amrican Civil war was a terrirble war in the United States. Not only was it a war it was a war that brought the United States back together. It was a war that you fought against your brothers your friends. Men laid there lives down for there country whether it was the north or south. During the war the President gave one of the greatest speaches, the Gettysburg Address. The leaders were of the best including: Robert E Lee, Ulysses S. Grant, and Gemeral Sherman.
